The season series is tied at 1-1 and both wins have come by double digits. Tomorrow will also be their second meeting this week.

HOME TEAM: Brooklyn Nets (18-23, 11-10 at home)

The Nets just can’t get off the loser train. They have now lost 10 of their last 12 games, and they are allowing 117.3 PPG and 50.6 FG%-shooting in their last three. Sunday’s 117-97 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks was one of the uglier ones as they only shot 33.3% from the floor.

The team last met the Philadelphia 76ers just five days ago. They lost, 117-106, and got outscored big in the fourth quarter, 31-16.

Primary scorer Kyrie Irving is only 12-for-36 in his last two so he should look to be more efficient tomorrow. The same goes for number two scorer Spencer Dinwiddie, who only scored 11 points on 3-for-12 shooting against the Bucks.

Caris Levert, Taurean Prince, and Jarrett Allen may be able to produce more than usual as Joe Harris (back) and DeAndre Jordan (finger) are both considered day-to-day.

ROAD TEAM: Philadelphia 76ers (28-16, 8-14 on the road)

The season-long rollercoaster ride of the Sixers is at the top part again, so it’s back to happy times for the erratic squad. They are winners of three-straight games and have also held their last two opponents to under 90 points and only 23.3% shooting from beyond the arc.

Four of the five starters scored in double figures during Thursday’s win over the Nets. Tobias Harris powered the attack as he posted a game-high 34 points on 70%-shooting, while Ben Simmons was in his usual stat-stuffing form and added 20 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists.

Simmons is on a great stretch and he looks to be in a favorable match-up opposite the seemingly nosediving Nets. He has scored 20 or more in four-straight outings and he’s averaging 21.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists on 61.3%-shooting in that span.

Joel Embiid is still nursing a hand injury and will remain sidelined. His partner in the paint, Al Horford, has a similar injury and will be questionable for the game.

PREDICTION:

Through balanced scoring, the Nets snap their three-game skid with a hard-fought 111-108 win, while the Sixers’ struggles on the road will be on display again.
