Karl-Anthony Towns will return to Minnesota for the first time since the trade. We are set for what could be a fireworks of a matchup.
Catch the game tomorrow at 10:30 AM, Manila time.
AWAY: New York Knicks (16-10, 8-6 AWAY)
Projected starting five:
- Jalen Brunson
- Mikal Bridges
- Josh Hart
- OG Anunoby
- Karl-Anthony Towns
The Knicks have alternated wins and losses over their last five games, but they are also 11-4 in their last 15, where they score 117.5 points per game on 50% shooting and have a +8.2 point differential.
This should remain as an interesting group as Jalen Brunson is a solid facilitator and scorer with some clutch gene, while Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, and Mikal Bridges are all capable defenders that are very switchable in a variety of situations.
Brunson (25.0 PPG) and Towns (24.8 PPG) are the 1-2 scoring punch, while Anunoby and Bridges are interchangeable as the third scorer, and Hart roams around as the key hustle guy that simply plays all over the floor. Defense will be huge as always, though, as the opposition has one of the most talented players on the planet today.

HOME: Minnesota Timberwolves (14-11, 8-4 HOME)
Projected starting five:
- Mike Conley
- Anthony Edwards
- Jaden McDaniels
- Julius Randle
- Rudy Gobert
The Timberwolves are gaining steam after what seemed an impending implosion was about to happen just a few weeks ago. They are winners in six of their last seven contests, scoring 103.7 points and only giving up 90.7 in return, as well as limiting their opponents to just 28.6% shooting from deep and 40.5% overall, all across that stretch.
Anthony Edwards will be the main as per usual. He is scoring 26.2 PPG on the season and is bombing 4.3 threes per outing with a 42.4% accuracy, which is also on top of him being a relentless downhill attacker blessed with intense athleticism.
Julius Randle is the second scorer at 20.1 PPG, though it’s a bit tricky as he regularly goes into a streaky stretch. Nevertheless, he’s an interesting watch as he’ll look to show up his former team, who pretty much ran him out of town after going for a deep playoff run while he’s out. The same goes for Donte DiVincenzo, who was a beloved Knick in his lone season there.
Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert will continue being a presence on facilitation and rim protection, respectively. Jaden McDaniels will stay as a key defender and hustle guy. He’s coming off a double-double of 12 points, 11 boards, and four steals.
