It seems that after his short time in Los Angeles and pit stop in Cleveland, Jordan Clarkson has found his home in Utah and it is showing up in his game.

The Fil-Am combo guard has been playing well since being traded to the Jazz from the Cavaliers back in December. In his first 15 games for his new team, Clarkson helped Utah go 14-1.

Clarkson finished the 42 games he played with the Jazz in the regular season averaging 15.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists while shooting 46.2 percent in the field and 36.6 percent from the three-point line while coming off the bench.

The five year veteran proved his worth as a quality sixth-man on a tough playoff team during the regular season but Clarkson doubled-down on the positive impressions of him of the Utah fans and elevated his game in the playoffs.

In Game One of the first round match-up against the Denver Nuggets, Clarkson put up 18 points, four rebounds and three assists in 47.1 percent shooting in the field off the bench in a losing effort, 125-135.

Down 0-1, the University of Missouri product took over in Game Two to tie the series at 1-1, 124-105, as he dropped a playoff career-high in points with 26 markers, four boards and three dimes while shooting 50 percent in the field off the bench.

Clarkson has been proving himself to be one of the best sixth-man in the league. He is slowly putting himself in the same level as Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Dennis Schröder, guys that can come off the bench but instantly make an impact in the game.

Clarkson’s game and Utah’s play style is a perfect fit. It won’t be much of a surprise if we’ll see him in Jazz jersey for a long time.

He will certainly be trying to prove his worth again in Game 3 against the Nuggets. They’ve got a great shot at taking a 2-1 lead in the first round series.
