Away: Chicago Bulls (18-25, 10-10 Away)
Projected Starting Five:
- Josh Giddey
- Coby White
- Zach LaVine
- Patrick Williams
- Nikola Vucevic
Things are not looking good in Windy City, as the Bulls are on a five-game losing streak. They started their short road trip on Monday by losing to the Portland Trail Blazers, 113-102. It’s not about to get much easier for Chicago, with the surging Clippers meeting them this Tuesday.
However, the Bulls are getting some sort of a break, with the Clippers not expected to have Kawhi Leonard for this upcoming contest due to rest. Still, the Clippers are a tough bunch to handle. The Bulls would be in a much better position to pull off an upset in Inglewood if Josh Giddey finds a way to end a slump. Giddey, who went scoreless in 29 minutes versus Portland, has averaged just 6.4 points on a brutal 31.6 FG% in the last five Bulls games.
Despite their recent struggles, the Bulls have one of the most potent offenses in the league, as they are fifth overall with 117.2 points per game average.

Home: Los Angeles Clippers (24-17, 15-6 Home)
Projected Starting Five:
- James Harden
- Norman Powell
- Amir Coffey
- Derrick Jones Jr.
- Ivica Zubac
The Clippers are moving in the opposite direction of Chicago. While the Bulls are on a downward spiral, Los Angeles is entering Tuesday’s contest on the heels of a four-game win streak. The Clippers are coming off a statement 116-102 victory at home on Monday over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, with Norman Powell leading the Clippers with 22 points.
Meanwhile, James Harden and Ivica Zubac each had a double-double. Harden finished with 21 points and 12 assists while Zubac produced 21 points and 19 boards. As mentioned, Leonard will not be available to play, but his absence should open extra opportunities for Harden and the others. The Clippers should find success against Chicago’s poor defense which is 29th in the NBA with 120.5 points allowed per game.
Conversely, the Clippers have a solid defensive resume, as they’re third in the league with just 106.5 points allowed per contest and fourth in defensive turnover rate (14%).
