Vici took the first dragon in the eight minute, with no contest from LNG.

At the same time, there was a skirmish that saw Aix manage to barely survive after chasing Maple and killing him next to a tower.

Another skirmish broke in the 12th minute, with Forge surviving when he looked to have made too aggressive a push while Aix managed to swoop in and take Xx out. By the 13th minute, Vici had a 2K gold lead.

LNG managed to take the second dragon, but lost the skirmish afterwards, seeing Flandre and Asura go down while Aix went down for Vici, who moved toward a 4-1 lead.

In the 16th minute, Forge was made to pay for bad positioning, as he and Cube went down for a 4-3 score. LNG soon picked up a second herald, as well. By the 17th minute, they had cut the Vici’s gold lead to 1K.

With the dragon spawning again in the 19th minute, a 5 on 5 five broke out between the two teams, and Vici were able to eliminate Duan who was a little too aggressive. Vici went on to quickly take the third dragon after that fight. That gave them a second dragon and a 5-3 lead.

LNG weren’t able to do much with their herald on the bottom lane, as Cube quickly dispatched it. Aix pulled out with his third kill by taking out Xx after.

A big skirmish happened in the 22nd minute, which saw LNG come up big to take out Forge and Cube, thanks to a big sacrifice from Duan. Score was 8-6.

The 24th minute saw Asura go down when LNG were outnumbered, and they also lost a turret. Vici picked up the drake as well as the 9-6 score. They pushed their gold advantage to 3K as well.

There was a big team fight in the 28th minute, where LNG came up ahead to cut the lead to 12-10.

Another fight came up in the 30th minute at the ice drake, where LNG deleted the entire Vici squad to surge to a 15-12 lead and flipped the gold lead to 2K for themselves. Masterful patience, coordination and movement for LNG won them that fight.

LNG then pushed hard on the mid and bot lanes, forcing Vici to stay inside their base.

iBoy made a mistake and saw himself die in the 33rd minute, and LNG went to push inside. Forge saw himself go down shortly after as well, and LNG took the game with a 18-12 kill lead and a 7K gold lead.

LNG’s Flandre played Mordekaiser with flair and consistently made a difference – dealing 31.4K damage as he went 6/2/11. Maple stood out as well, finishing 5/1/10.

While Forge played well in the early and mid-stages of the game for Vici, he also ended up with the most deaths for Vici, going 3/5/7.

Vici decided to focus on a lineup that was strong in the late game, which made sense considering how they lost the previous game.

Aix picked up a herald in the 2nd minute.

Vici played save in the

LNG pulled first blood in the 3rd minute, with Aix taking out Flandre in a 2v1 situation in the top lane.

The next battle came in the 4th minute, with Forge getting taken down in the mid lane, but Duan took one too many shots from the tower, allowing Vici to maintain a 2-1 kill advantage with the gold even between the two teams.

Aix found himself with another kill, taking down Asura near the 7th minute. VG took the first drake of the game shortly after.

Another couple of fights went LNG’s way, with Asura and Duan going down again 5-1 lead. Flandre pushed a little too hard shortly after and also went down for Vici, for a 6-1 kill lead.

A full team fight broke out in the 13th minute at the dragon, with LNG choosing to be a little bit more careful this time around. Flandre and Duan went down again to push VG’s lead to 9-1 and allowing them to claim the objective. LNG also pushed to a 3K gold lead.

Flandre made another key error in the 15th minute, trying to make a hero play and getting instantly deleted and giving Vici a 10-1 kill lead, as they claimed another objective.

Xx went down for a second time in the 18th minute, pushing Vici’s lead to 11. By this point, everyone in LNG had at least two deaths. Vici also picked up a third drake shortly after.

For a team that went with a late game focused squad, Vici simply had control for the entire game. 21 minutes in, Vici had pulled to a 4K gold lead.

Another big skirmish happened in the 22nd minute, with Cube hitting everyone with call of the forge. However, Vici were able to survive the onslaught. They answered later in the same minute by taking out Duan and Asura to go ahead 13-1, pushing their gold lead to 5K as well.

Another fight at the dragon saw LNG finally get a kill, with Hang going down. But the overall fight went Vici’s way for an 18-2 score. They also pushed their gold lead to 10K by this point.

Trapped inside their base, LNG couldn’t do much against Vici’s mid lane push. Vici got another kill, then chose the safe route and left the LNG base to wait. Ahead 19-2 and 12K gold, they didn’t need to take any risks. The last push came in the 29th minute, and it was GG time. They finished game 2 with a 24-4 kill advantage.

It was an impressive adjustment from Vici, and such a decisive win set up a mouthwatering game 3.

The trio of Aix (8/0/10, 17.9K damage) Forge (6/2/8, 16.9K damage) and iBoy (8/0/9, 18.5K damage) were huge for the winners. Cube and Hang came up big in the assists column, with 13 and 17 respectively.

Flandre’s signature Aatrox pick did not amount to much for the losers. Maple was the only one on the LNG team who didn’t have five deaths.

LNG had the huge win in the late stages of the first game but were soundly beaten down by Vici in the second game. It left people wondering how they would adjust to make things more competitive in the final battle.

Vici wanted to maintain their momentum, but LNG are known as a creative team.

Aix and Hang grabbed the first drake of the game in the fifth minute, while both teams avoided much overextension.

There were still no kills for either by the 10th minute, with LNG clearly following a much more careful game plan – likely afraid of making too many huge mistakes.

The first big fight happened in the 11th minute, as Xx, Duan and Flandre went down thanks to a double kill from Aix and another one from iBoy. This gave Vici a 3-0 lead and their second dragon.

Hang almost found himself down in the 14th minute, but was able to get away in the nick of time, denying LNG their first kill.

Flandre found himself not getting enough support from his squad late in the 16th minute, giving Vici a 4-0 kill lead. They also had three drakes to work with.

Cube found himself on the wrong end a 3v1 in the 19th minute, giving LNG their first kill. At the same time, LNG also lost their T2 turret in the top lane.

Gold was still even in the 20th minute, even as Vici held the 4-1 kill lead.

The infernal drake spawned in the 22nd minute, and Vici were able to get it. A big team fight came up right after, with LNG coming up big and cutting the kill lead to 6-5.

LNG followed up that big moment by taking down the baron. Vici did manage to take Flandre down again, though, and quickly took down the T2 turret in the mid lane.

25 minutes in, LNG had a 1K gold lead but still found themselves behind 8-5 on the kill side of things. That gold lead jumped to 2K by the 27th minute.

A 5v5 broke out in the 28th minute, and Flandre got caught out again. Maple went down shortly after allowing Vici to take a 10-5 lead, and their fifth dragon of the game. They took back the gold lead as well, and in the 30th minute took down the baron.

It looked dire for LNG, and Vici made their push through the mid lane into the LNG base. Cube went down for Vici, but they managed to take down Flandre. Asura, Maple, and Xx went down in the final big fight.

Vici made excellent adjustments in games 2 and 3, earning a well-deserved 2-1 series victory. This was their fourth win involving a split score in ten LPL matchups so far.

iBoy paced Vici in game 3 with 17.7K damage and finished 6/1/4. Aix had a second consecutive good game with Olaf and finished 5/1/7.
