Catch the game tomorrow at 7:00 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: Philadelphia 76ers (3-1, 1-0 AWAY)

Projected starting five:

  • Tyrese Maxey
  • VJ Edgecombe
  • Jaylen Brown
  • LeBron James
  • Joel Embiid

Philadelphia has assembled one of the NBA’s most intriguing star collections, and its 3-1 start suggests the new-look Sixers could be a legitimate Eastern Conference contender. Tyrese. Maxey has wasted little time establishing himself as the offensive engine, averaging 28.8 points through four games, while Joel Embiid contributes 21.7 points and 9.7 rebounds. Jaylen Brown is adding 20.8 points per game, giving Philadelphia multiple options when defenses load up on its primary scorers.

However, Sunday’s 106-93 loss to the Detroit Pistons, wherein LeBron James started at Center in place of an injured Embiid, exposed the challenge of maintaining consistency, particularly during a demanding early schedule. Philadelphia will need sharper execution against Indiana’s fast-paced offense, with Maxey’s matchup against Tyrese Haliburton especially compelling. Embiid’s presence inside could also prove decisive against a Pacers frontcourt missing Ivica Zubac. If the Sixers can control the tempo and get their stars firing together, they have enough firepower to leave Indianapolis with another statement win.

HOME: Indiana Pacers (2-2, 0-1 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • Kelly Oubre Jr.
  • Aaron Nesmith
  • Pascal Siakam
  • Jay Huff

Indiana’s 2-2 start offers encouraging signs of a rebound after last year’s lost season. The biggest reason for optimism is Tyrese Haliburton’s return after missing the entire 2025-26 campaign with a torn Achilles. He has averaged 21.8 points and 9.5 assists across his first four games, restoring the playmaking that makes the Pacers’ free-flowing offense so dangerous. Pascal Siakam has been equally dependable, averaging a team-high 23.5 points alongside 7.8 rebounds.

The Pacers’ biggest concern is health. Ivica Zubac is sidelined with an ankle sprain, Andrew Nembhard is questionable with neck soreness, and Aaron Nesmith is working through a minutes restriction. Those absences could leave Indiana vulnerable against Philadelphia’s imposing collection of scorers.

Still, the Pacers showed their offensive ceiling in Sunday’s 136-109 demolition of Brooklyn. Haliburton’s ability to push the pace and create open looks will be crucial against a Sixers team with considerable individual talent. If Indiana can turn this into a transition-heavy contest, the home crowd could help it pull off an impressive win.
