It’s a battle that features the team captain of one of the All-Star teams and one of the bigger All-Star snubs this year. Will we see Giannis Antetokounmpo dominate again or will Devin Booker score his guts out to prove a point?

HOME TEAM: Milwaukee Bucks (41-7, 22-3 at home)

The Bucks got shocked at home by an undermanned Denver Nuggets on Saturday, 127-115. It was an off-night defensively as every Nugget that played eased past the Bucks defense and reached double figures.

Don’t expect a slump, though. The Bucks do not have the best record and rank number one in several categories for nothing. They will be back on track in no time.

The trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Eric Bledsoe play both sides of the ball and will continue being a force. The Greek Freak is averaging 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 5.7 assists on the season, Middleton is pouring in 26.6 points on an efficient 60.8%-shooting in his last five (he just had a career-high 51-point game days ago too), and Eric Bledsoe is staying in pace as one of the best defensive point guards in the league.

ROAD TEAM: Phoenix Suns (20-28, 11-11 on the road)

The Suns are coming off a 111-107 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where they allowed three Thunder players to score 20 or more points. It was their fourth loss in six games.

As always, Devin Booker is the man to lead the charge. The 23-year-old is currently posting a career-best 27.1 PPG and he’s been particularly a beast over the past five weeks – 31.6 PPG, 6.4 APG, 52.6 FG% since December 28th.

DeAndre Ayton (17.8 PPG, 11.8 RPG, 1.5 BPG) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (21.1 PPG in his last 15) are the scoring back-up for Booker – the former is in a favourable match-up with twin brothers Brook and Robin Lopez while Oubre is in an interesting clash with Middleton and Milwaukee’s other forwards.

Floor general Ricky Rubio, meanwhile, is only tallying 8.6 points and 5.7 assists on 33.9%-shooting over his last seven outings and may have an even tougher time recovering tomorrow.

PREDICTION:

The Bucks are in a bad mood after that tough upset loss. They’ll make-up for that frustrating defeat with a 120-111 win. Look for Giannis and his crew to be in their usual attack.
