Away: Chicago Sky (4-10, 3-4 Away)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Azura Stevens
  • Kamilla Cardoso
  • Skylar Diggins
  • Sydney Taylor
  • Gabriela Jaquez

Things are not looking so great for the Sky, who are on a losing skid. Chicago fell short of pulling off an upset on Thursday against the New York Liberty at home, falling prey to Sabrina Ionescu and company at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, to the tune of a 96-95 score. Still, the Sky must like what they saw in their rookies against a legitimate title contender, as Gabriela Jaquez, sister of Miami Heat forward Jamie, finished with 22 points on 7/11 shooting with four 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, Sydney Taylor paced the Sky with 24 points on 10/16 shooting with four threes. Taylor is averaging 10.7 points so far in her WNBA career, but she’s on quite a roll of late, having scored 54 points in the last two games. Taylor did not play in Chicago’s 99-89 loss at home to the Wings in May, but she’ll be a player to watch out for in this game, given how she’s been torching the hoops lately.

Home: Dallas Wings (9-6, 5-2 Home)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Jessica Shepard
  • Awak Kuier
  • Arike Ogunbowale
  • Paige Bueckers
  • Azzi Fudd

It has been an up-and-down ride for Paige Bueckers and company over their last outings. After a four-game winning streak, the Wings have won two of three games, a stretch that includes their 91-90 loss at the hands of the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, on Thursday. But with the Wings returning home and facing a struggling team they have already defeated before, they should feel good about their chances to get back to the win column. Moreover, the two wins they notched in their last five games both took place at their home, the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

In the first meeting with the Sky, Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale gave Chicago all sorts of headaches. Bueckers led the Wings with 24 points on 11/19 shooting, while Ogunbowale dropped 23 points on 7/16 shooting. Azzi Fudd,  the 2026 WNBA Draft top pick, came off the bench and fired 12 points for the Wings, who are currently fifth in the league with a 108.2 offensive efficiency.
