Nemiga Gaming looks to keep their tournament journey alive by taking the longer and more grueling path of the lower bracket after being swept by OG Seed in the first round of the upper bracket playoffs. 4 Zoomers carry momentum coming into the game after completing a sweep against Team Heroic from previous round.

Previous Match Results and Statistics

4 Zoomers have been on a slump for the entire tournament as they have not won a single match against the other teams in Group B. The team was only able to win one game for all of the best-of-three matches in the group stage. Luckily, the format of the tournament requires no team to be eliminated by the end of the group stage as all of the eight teams from Groups A and B made it to the playoffs including 4 Zoomers who sat at 0-3 win-loss record at the end of the group stage.

Come playoff time, 4 Zoomers got their first win against Team Heroic from Group A. 4 Zoomers eliminated Team Heroic at the first round of the playoffs in a shocking fashion as the winless team at the time managed to pull-off a sweep.

Nemiga Gaming on the other hand are coming from a heartbreaking sweep from OG Seed at the first round of the upper bracket. All hope is not lost yet for this team as they may still make it to the grand final as a lower bracket representative. Especially now that things are looking up for Nemiga Gaming for this round as they find themselves facing a familiar foe whom they beat from the group stage.

In their most recent encounter, the favorites Nemiga Gaming (1.44) swept 4 Zoomers (2.38) in less than an hour with both games combined. In game 1, Astral’s Earthshaker and Fervian’s Crystal Maiden came through as the support duo provided the needed stuns and controls for their carry to get his needed early kills. True enough, nefrit’s Juggernaut found himself with a killing spree streak early into the game. The midlane match-up also went Nemiga Gaming’s way as mellojul’s Queen of Pain completely outplayed Gunnar’s Shadow Fiend in terms of CS and kills. With things going entirely their way, Nemiga Gaming just kept their pedal to the metal and never looked back forcing the GG call in just 26 minutes.

Game 2 was no different at all as mellojul seemed to believe in the saying that “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” as he picked QoP again and it sure did pay off as he dominated the midlane once again ending the game with an 11/2/13 KDA. Their carry in nefrit’s Luna was just so well taken care of as he ended the game as top net worth with 19.9K and carried his team to the win without suffering any deaths from Game 2. He had a total of 17/1/18 KDA for both games combined.

Predictions

I am personally heavily favoring Nemiga Gaming to win this match as favorites as they look to bounce back from getting swept in the previous round. They could not have it any better as they face a team that they have already swept in the same tournament.

I just don’t see 4 Zoomers winning this series with the way they played previously as Nemiga Gaming is a team who has already found out what it takes to win and has go-to heroes for their cores that will help them secure the victory.

With that being said, I find the line Nemiga Gaming to win (1.44) a really viable pick. I would also go with Nemiga Gaming +1.5 Map Handicap, I believe it is highly unlikely that Nemiga Gaming will lose this match, let alone getting swept by 4 Zoomers.
