Week 3, Day 3

Invictus Gaming versus Rogue Warriors

Invictus Gaming (1.21 to win) is on their third match to show the region they’re not washed up. They won one match against Suning and lost one match against Team WE. Rookie is still managing to carry the team since the spring season, and Ning has picked up the slack as well. TheShy, however, is still underperforming in the toplane.

Rogue Warriors (3.51 to win) has yet to win a match, but given that they faced Top Esports last week and then Invictus Gaming tomorrow, they are the luckiest or unluckiest team in the round robin depending on your perspective. All of their players need to triple their effort if they want to take some games off one of the best teams.

iG can win this game if Rookie and Ning get their act together once more. If either of them fall short, Rogue Warriors might take those lucky wins and run.

EDward Gaming versus Suning

EDward Gaming (1.46 to win) has a pretty average run so far. They won 2-0 against OMG and lost to Team WE in a Game 3 scenario. JunJia is a pretty good jungler in the LPL, and he certainly meets the LPL standards. They’re an above average team though, despite the score, so watch out for them.

Suning (2.33 to win) is one of the rising stars in the summer. They had a great start and an average run so far. The huanfeng-SwordArt duo is a powerful menace, with huanfeng showing that he can effectively play the meta carries. SofM is the team’s premier jungler, but he’s falling to the average level as of now.

EDG has this win if they can perform to standard, but one wrong slip and Suning will likely capitalize it.

Week 3, Day 4

Victory Five versus Bilibili Gaming

Among the rising stars, Victory Five (1.48 to win) is the brightest of them all. They won two series and lost one to LGD, but they have been running against the lower ranking teams of spring. However, we’ve seen a decent amount of their gameplay enough to merit better odds for a team that previously ranked last.

Bilibili Gaming (2.27 to win) started horribly, but yesterday they managed to beat eStar in a game 3 scenario. They’re still a coin flip sort of team, and that’s no good in the pro scene.

Victory Five is really looking promising this season, and against a coin flip team, they will need to prove themselves that they’re not winning through sheer luck.

JD Gaming versus Royal Never Give Up

JD Gaming (1.29 to win) is a team that needs no introduction. The spring split champion, and the team that has only been matched by Top Esports, is back for action in the summer split. Every single player, from Zoom to LvMao, stands out in their roles as they beat the top Korean teams in the Mid-Season Cup.

Royal Never Give Up (2.93 to win), even though they have the weaker odds, has beaten JD Gaming in the spring season and Demacia Cup from last year. They’re overall a solid team, especially with Betty, Xiaohu, and XLB in the bot, mid, and jungle positions. We think that this is the best form of RNG to ever exist, despite Uzi retiring from the LPL.

Out of all the games for these days, we’re betting that it will go to a Game 3 scenario in favor of Royal Never Give Up.
