Top Esports, in their first week, immediately climbed to the top with an undefeated 2-0 winstreak and 4 games won. As expected of the team that brought home the first-ever Mid-Season Cup victory, this team truly lives up to their name and keeps their gameplay in top shape. Once again, the spotlight is on JackeyLove, Karsa, and Knight, but Top Esports as a team has little weaknesses.

LGD Gaming follows in second place, only dropping games to Victory Five and eStar. Kramer is the team’s leading star, followed by Peanut and the rest of the team who are doing just as well.

Following in third place are Team WE and Victory Five. Team WE is looking pretty well this early on, if not more refined than the previous season. Teacherma and beishang are the players to look out for, as well as the coin flip nature that the team usually has.

Victory Five has turned into a completely new leaf, much to the surprise of many LPL fans. They are outperforming themselves in every way possible, especially with Weiwei and Samd in the bot lane. They only fell short to LGD Gaming but stalled for Game 3 in that series, which makes us think what did they do during the offseason.

The next 4 in the leaderboards are Royal Never Give Up, LNG Esports, Suning, and EDward Gaming. While RNG and EDG are expected qualifiers due to their Spring performance, it’s quite the refresher to see LNG and Suning in the higher echelons now.

LNG plays as quite the solid team, where they are all doing their work and no one significantly downplays the others in stats. Suning, on the other hand, does the same with a little bit more. SwordArt and SofM are the best players in our eyes, while the others are also up there in the quality tier of LPL players.

Surprisingly, the leading teams of the Spring season found themselves at the bottom half this week. FunPlus Phoenix, Invictus Gaming, JD Gaming, along with eStar and Vici, have all won one and lost one series.

We’d like to highlight Invictus Gaming, because today they actually pulled their weight with Rookie and Ning performing pretty well against Suning. Peanut’s excellent plays gave him the MVP for the both games. However, we’re still seeing TheShy performing suboptimally since the playoffs, but this is a good step for the team overall.

The last four teams in the leaderboard are Rogue Warriors, Bilibili Gaming, Dominus Esports, and Oh My God. They have yet to win a series, and only OMG won a single game among the four bottom teams. They failed to pull themselves together, and it may be a good cause for roster changes.
