Another week closes, and another week opens for the LPL teams to climb the ranks, position themselves for playoffs, and to get those sweet championship points!

The early portion of the week will be spent with the middle-tier teams taking a shot for a better ranking, as well as Top Esports in one of the matches. Guess who they’re fighting against?

Games will run from the 15th to the 21st of June 2020. Find out who’s playing on the 15th and 16th on our preview below, as well as the odds for your favorite teams.

Week 3, Day 1

Bilibili Gaming versus eStar

Bilibili Gaming (2.77 to win) at this point in time is yet to match their Spring performance, and it’s only going further down. There are no outstanding players in the roster, and their overall draft is quite average and common when you look at what’s meta in the LPL scene.

If you match them to a team that was playoffs material, such as eStar (1.33 to win), the odds are indeed agreeable. eStar outclasses BLG in every statistic there is. KDA ratios, kill participation, and gold per minute, eStar is able to show pro-level numbers without much fluctuations. Expect a win for eStar.

Vici Gaming versus Team WE

This is quite the close matchup we have here. Team WE (1.55 to win) has their dominant hand up for this matchup against Vici Gaming (2.13 to win).

It’s hard to see why not, because Team WE has Teacherma in the mid lane and beishang in the jungle. Seasoned LPL watchers are already well-oriented with the threat of this duo, bringing other LPL teams to target ban Teacherma while having the pressure to outperform the team itself.

If Vici Gaming cannot manage to target ban Team WE’s players and beat them to the punch at the same time, which is quite the tall order for Vici, Team WE has this match in the bag.

Week 3, Day 2

LGD Gaming versus Dominus Esports

LGD Gaming (1.15 to win) sits pretty at second place, just behind Top Esports in the current rankings, while Dominus Esports (4.1 to win) is at the polar opposite end of the leaderboard.

Dominus Esports has good numbers, but KDA and gold mean nothing if it doesn’t culminate to destroying the enemy Nexus in the end. In addition, their players don’t seem to have a consistent playstyle nor champion pick to reliably win on, making the matchup for anyone in the round robin quite easy.

There isn’t much to say about LGD gaming other than the fact that they’re showing up lately. As always, Kramer is the man to watch for both spectators and LGD themselves. Besides him, the team plays quite solid, but not necessarily the best as of now. Time will tell if their foundations are sturdy and consistent enough.

In this matchup, however, LGD can take the time to relax and have fun, which is a rarity in such a competitive tournament like the LPL.

Top Esports versus Oh My God

From the title itself, it’s a clear landslide towards Top Esports (1.03 to win) no biases attached.

Oh My God (7.05 to win) currently has the worst record out of any LPL team. They dropped 3 series in a row and only won a single game out of seven games, with that single game against Victory Five, the last placer of Spring. There needs to be a huge adaptation in playstyle and mindset If OMG wants to get out of the gutter.

There’s nothing else much to say for this matchup, but OMG needs the entire Rosary and not just a Hail Mary if they want to at least win a single game against the Top.
