The Clippers look for their second win over the Kings this season and fourth win in a row. DeMar DeRozan is expected to make his return for Sacramento after a three-game absence.

The Sacramento Kings hope to get a win back over the LA Clippers. The Clipps won their first encounter last November 9th, 107-98.

Catch the game tomorrow at 11:30 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: Sacramento Kings (8-7, 4-3 AWAY)

Projected starting five:

  • De’Aaron Fox
  • Kevin Huerter
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Keegan Murray
  • Domantas Sabonis

The Kings are strolling down an inconsistent lane. They have alternated wins and losses over their last eight games, averaging 115.6 points per game and allowing 113.5 on the other end.

Included in that stretch was the said loss to the Clippers. De’Aron Fox (31 pts) and Domantas Sabonis (23 pts, 12 rebs, 6 ast) both did their thing, but the third guy on the Big Three, DeMar DeRozan, didn’t. The new King was a quiet 5-of-12 from the floor for 13 points, and should look to redeem himself tomorrow.

DeRozan will be in his first game back after being sidelined for three-straight outings due to an ailing back. It remains to be seen if he’ll be eased in or just be used like usual. He (22.9 PPG), Fox (28.8 PPG), and Sabonis (20.2 PPG), are all averaging over 20 points per game this season.

Nevertheless, the supporting cast should look to provide better help, particularly Keegan Murray and Kevin Huerter, who shot 2-of-10 for seven points and 2-of-5 for four points across 19 points in the LAC defeat, respectively. They’ll be especially eyed since key energy guy Malik Monk is sidelined with an injury.

HOME: LA Clippers (9-7, 6-4 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • James Harden
  • Kris Dunn
  • Norman Powell (out) / Amir Coffey
  • Derrick Jones Jr.
  • Ivica Zubac

The Clippers have won seven of their last 10, and are gunning for a four-straight victory. They have also held their opponents under the century mark four times in that stretch, one of which was the Kings.

While surprise top scorer Norman Powell (23.3 PPG) is still expected to be out as he deals with a hamstring injury, the Clipps remain competitive. James Harden (20.3 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 8.8 APG, 1.5 SPG), at 35 years old, is able to pace the group well and fill the statsheet. He hopes to be more efficient tomorrow, however, as he shot 5-for-16 (22 pts, 8 ast) in the win vs. SAC.

Big man Ivica Zubac (15.4 PPG, 12.4 RPG), meanwhile, is enjoying his best season yet posting healthy double-doubles. He’ll be in an interesting clash opposite Sabonis.

Anyone between Derrick Jones Jr., Amir Coffey, Kris Dunn, Kevin Porter Jr., Terrance Mann, and Kevin Porter Jr. is possible to step up in place of the sidelined Powell. Coffey balled out on Thursday vs. the Orlando Magic with 18 points, with Porter Jr. chipping in a serviceable 10 points and six dimes across 20 minutes of action.

The Clipps score 109.2 PPG allow 107.0 points in return over their last 10 contests.
