The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings have won two and three games in a row, respectively, and are hoping to keep it alive.

Catch the game tomorrow at 9:30 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: Sacramento Kings (16-19, 7-7 AWAY)

Projected starting five:

  • De’Aaron Fox (Doubtful)
  • Malik Monk
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Keegan Murray (day-to-day)
  • Domantas Sabonis

After a six-game skid that led to the firing of former head coach Mike Brown, the Kings have now won three-straight contests. They average 120.3 points per game while allowing 113.3 over that span.

As always, we’ll look at the trio of De’Aaron Fox (26.7 PPG, 6.2 APG, 1.6 SPG), Domantas Sabonis (20.7 PPG, 13.7 PPG, 6.1 APG), and DeMar DeRozan (20.8 PPG) to lead the charge. Fox and Sabonis are always a threat, and it should stay as such, while the veteran DeRozan is coming off a 29-point performance, his best following a two-week stretch of tepid play.

Behind the three is microwave guard Malik Monk, who’s at 21.3 PPG in his last four, including a season-high 31 points alongside six assists in their win vs. the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Keegan Murray, meanwhile, hopes to be more effective as he’s a combined 4-for-15 for nine points in his last two outings.

One thing to note is that De’Aaron Fox is doubtful for the game after taking a late-game cheap shot from Jaren Jackson Jr. in the Kings’ last game against the Grizzlies.

HOME: Golden State Warriors (18-16, 10-8 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • Stephen Curry (day-to-day)
  • Brandin Podziemski
  • Andrew Wiggins
  • Draymond Green
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis

The Warriors have won back-to-back, beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, 139-105, and the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, 121-113. This is their best stretch in a long while as they went 4-13 in the 17 games prior. We should see a focused Dubs squad that’s eager to stay in the win column.

Leading scorer Stephen Curry (22.3 PPG) sat out the Grizzlies game with an ailing knee – his status is up in the air. If they decide to let him play, he’ll have to do more as no. 2 scorer Jonathan Kuminga hurt his ankle in the Memphis game and is slated to miss Monday’s contest. That also means Andrew Wiggins (16.6 PPG), Dennis Schroder (10.7 PPG), Brandin Podziemski (8.0 PPG), Trayce Jackson-Davis (8.6 PPG), and possibly Buddy Hield (12.2 PPG) will have extra opportunities. It’s anyone’s guess who will step up, though Wiggins could be eyed the most.
