Away: Phoenix Suns (30-20, 13-13/ Away)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Collin Gillespie
  • Grayson Allen
  • Royce O’Neale
  • Dillon Brooks
  • Mark Williams

The Suns will attempt to shine again after having their three-game winning streak snapped in a 117-93 loss at home to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. But Phoenix is still going to be without star shooting guard Devin Booker because of an ankle injury. When the Suns defeated Portland on the road in November, Booker and Collin Gillespie led them with 19 points apiece.

Gillespie is healthy and has perhaps become an even more confident player since that initial meeting with Portland. Meanwhile, Dillon Brooks will look to sustain his form. He has been playing at an All-Star level of late, with an average of 28.2 points on a 52.1 FG% in the last five Suns games. Phoenix can get a boost from a potential return to action of Jalen Green, who is listed as questionable for the Blazers rematch at the time of this writing.

Home: Portland Trail Blazers (23-27, 13-12 Home)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Toumani Camara
  • Shaedon Sharpe
  • Jerami Grant
  • Sidy Cissoko
  • Donovan Clingan

The Blazers are on a downward spiral, and they will try to get back to their winning ways again this Wednesday. In their most recent outing, they got crushed by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 130-111 home loss. Portland has missed the services of star forward Deni Avdija in its last two games, but there’s a chance that he returns from a back issue for this matchup against the Suns.

Avdija had 19 points in November’s loss to Phoenix, while Shaedon Sharpe put up 29 points on 12/24 shooting from the field. So far in the 2025-26 NBA season, Avdija and Sharpe are leading the Trail Blazers in scoring with 25.5 points and 21.8 points per game, respectively. Not really known for having a stout defense, Portland could have an easier time slowing down the Suns’ attack this time with Booker out of the equation.
