The new-look Milwaukee Bucks aim for their third win against the Philadelphia Sixers this season.
Catch the game tomorrow at 3:00 AM, Manila time.
AWAY: Philadelphia 76ers (20-31, 10-15 AWAY)
Projected starting five:
- Tyrese Maxey
- Kelly Oubre Jr.
- Paul George
- Guershon Yabusele
- Joel Embiid (day-to-day) / Andre Drummond
The injury-riddled and simultaneously struggling Sixers have gone 1-4 over their last five games, scoring 115.0 points per game with a -5.8 net rating across that stretch. They also lost to the Bucks by 15 and 14 points in two meetings this 2024-25.
Joel Embiid is deemed questionable yet again as he manages his knee injury – what’s new? But, of course, he’s at 24.6 PPG on the season, and his presence is huge. Either way, All-Star and team leading scorer Tyrese Maxey figures to lead the way, posting 27.8 PPG overall and 31.0 PPG in the season series vs. the Bucks.
Paul George has continued to provide underwhelming impact with just 16.8 PPG on 42.9% shooting. He’ll be in an interesting matchup opposite Milwaukee’s forwards, as well as the opportunity to show up former coach Doc Rivers.
Kelly Oubre Jr., Guershon Yabusele, and new Sixer Quentin Grimes will be Maxey’s other key cohorts. Oubre Jr. has three double-doubles in his last four outings.

HOME: Milwaukee Bucks (27-23, 16-8 HOME)
Projected starting five:
- Damain Lillard
- Gary Trent Jr.
- Taurean Prince
- Giannis Antetokounmpo
- Brook Lopez
The Bucks are also in a funk. They have dropped five of their last six games and have compiled 111.2 PPG with a -12.6 net rating. On Saturday, they lost to the Atlanta Hawks, 115-110, which was supposed to be a cakewalk contest, after blowing a 20-point lead.
The good, however, is there’s still a good amount of confidence coming into tomorrow. The group is 2-0 in head-to-head vs. Philly this season on identical scores, 123-109 and 124-109. There’s also no surprise that team All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo (29.5 PPG) and Damian Lillard (27.5 PPG) are the team’s top performers in the season series. Expect the duo to keep giving that work at the Sixers’ expense.
Second-tier guys Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. now have a new companion in Kyle Kuzma. The veteran forward made his debut in the Atlanta loss, chipping in 12 points and seven boards, albeit with a terrible 4-of-13 shooting.
