It’s not looking good for the Orlando Magic, who are taking on the league’s number one-ranked team while in the middle of a nosedive.
The Milwaukee Bucks are 3-0 against the Magic this season, all of which were one-sided affairs.
HOME TEAM: Orlando Magic (22-30, 13-12 at home)
The Magic are coming in having lost seven of their last eight games. Over that span, they are minus nine in points (100.6 PPG to 109.6 PAPG) and allow opponents to shoot 49.4% from the floor.
Playing at home won’t be an added insurance too. Orlando has dropped four-straight at Amway Center while also failing to score over 98 points in the last three.
Leading scorer Evan Fournier is averaging 22.7 points per game against the Bucks on the year. Nikola Vucevic (17.5 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 2.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG) and Terrence Ross (14.3 PPG) are next with decent-at-best numbers. With that, the Magic are only averaging 97.3 points on 38.5%-shooting in the season series.
Aaron Gordon has 19.8 points in his last four outings, and Markelle Fultz (12.1 PPG, 6.2 APG in his last 12) is continuing to build confidence. We’ll see if those two can help out.
ROAD TEAM: Milwaukee Bucks (44-7, 20-4 on the road)
Another day, another dominating Bucks win. They exacted revenge on the Philadelphia 76ers team that embarrassed them on Christmas Day by firing off a 112-101 victory, highlighted by a defensive effort that held Joel Embiid to just 6-for-26 shooting.
The Bucks are winners in 12 of their last 13 games and have also put together six-straight wins on the road. In that road winning streak, three of the victories were by 20 or more points and five were by nine or more.
Milwaukee basketball is a high-end machine and it runs like clockwork, so expect the usual guys to deliver the goods. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton (28 PPG, 56.3 FG% in his last five), and Eric Bledsoe (18.5 PPG in his last six) remain as a formidable trio that causes headaches on both ends.
“The Greek Freak” Giannis is on a whole new tear lately, as he has five consecutive performances of 30 or more points and 16 or more rebounds (32.2 PPG, 17.6 RPG).

PREDICTION:
The Magic will slow the game down with their classic half-court focused offense, but it ultimately won’t work as the Bucks can play at any pace. Giannis and his crew should be able to get the W, 115-105.
