The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking unstoppable, but at some point, their win streak will come to an end. Will that happen this Wednesday, when they share the court again with the Golden State Warriors? Or, will Oklahoma City extend its unbeaten run to 13 games?

Away: Oklahoma City Thunder (20-1, 10-1 Away)
Projected Starting Five:
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Cason Wallace
- Jalen Williams
- Chet Holmgren
- Jaylin Williams
The Thunder are a juggernaut. They collected their 12th consecutive win on Monday by beating the Portland Trail Blazers on the road, 123-115. Gilgeous-Alexander fired 26 points, while Chet Holmgren added 19 points to lead the way for Oklahoma City, which exacted revenge on the only team to beat the reigning NBA champs, thus far this season.
Now, the Thunder will look to defeat the Warriors again, this time in enemy territory. Oklahoma City crushed the Dubs on Nov. 12 in OKC, 126-102. The Thunder’s defense contained Stephen Curry to only 11 points in that contest. They will not see him contribute anything tangible to Golden State this Wednesday, as the two-time NBA MVP is out with a quadriceps issue. That’s music to the ears of OKC and its defense that is tops in the league with a 103.6 defensive rating. However, the Thunder will be without key pesky defenders Alex Caruso (quad) and Lu Dort (adductor). They will also be missing big man Isaiah Hartenstein (calf).
Home: Golden State Warriors (11-10, 7-2 Home)
Projected Starting Five:
- Brandin Podziemski
- Will Richard
- Moses Moody
- Jimmy Butler III (Questionable)
- Draymond Green (Probable)
The Warriors have been shaky of late, but are staying above .500 following a 104-96 win against the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Sunday. The two days of rest in between the Pelicans game and the meeting with the Thunder must be a great boost for the Warriors, but Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green are both on the injury report at the moment, heading into the date with OKC.
Both players suited up, though, versus the Pels. Butler had 24 points in that game, while Green scored two points (0/9 FG, 2/2 FTs) with nine rebounds and four assists. Even with all the injured bodies on the side of the Thunder, it will be a tall order for Golden State to beat the OKC if Butler and Green end up joining Curry on the shelf. But that will also be an opportunity for the likes of Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield to step up.
