The New York Knicks look to get the series back in New York, while the Indiana Pacers are itching to punch their ticket into the finals.

Catch the game tomorrow at 8:00 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: New York Knicks (2-3)

Projected starting five:

  • Jalen Brunson
  • OG Anunoby
  • Josh Hart
  • Mikal Bridges
  • Karl-Anthony Towns

The Knicks live to fight another day after their dominant Game 5 victory, but the job isn’t done yet as they head to Indiana facing elimination. Jalen Brunson (32 points in Game 5) and Karl-Anthony Towns (24 points, 13 rebounds) must replicate their superstar performances to force a decisive Game 7 back at Madison Square Garden. The duo has carried New York’s offense all series, but they’ll need more support from their supporting cast.

Josh Hart continues to be a relentless force on the boards, while Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby must provide more offensive punch alongside their defensive intensity. Anunoby in particular needs to bounce back after a rough 3/14 shooting night in Game 5. The reliever PGs will be crucial – Delon Wright must shake off his recent struggles, while Landry Shamet needs to continue providing spacing with his three-point shooting. The Knicks’ defense, which can’t get consistent in this series, must travel to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for them to extend the series.

HOME: Indiana Pacers (3-2)

Projected starting five:

  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • Andrew Nembhard
  • Aaron Nesmith
  • Pascal Siakam
  • Myles Turner

The Pacers return home with another opportunity to clinch their first Finals berth since 2000, but they can’t afford another offensive letdown like Game 5’s flat, 40.5% shooting performance. Indiana’s typically fluid offense ground to a halt as their stars struggled – Tyrese Haliburton’s 8-point outing, Pascal Siakam’s quiet 15 points, and Myles Turner’s mere 3 shot attempts won’t cut it in an elimination game – Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard were non-factors too.

Ben Mathurin’s 21-point contribution off the bench provides optimism, and the Pacers should benefit from returning to their home court where they’ve been dominant all postseason. Indiana must rediscover their signature ball movement and get their key players more involved early. With a raucous home crowd behind them, the Pacers have all the motivation they need to close out the series and avoid a pressure-packed Game 7 in New York. Their depth and versatility gives them multiple ways to attack New York’s defense – they just need to execute.
