Away: Milwaukee Bucks (12-18, 4-10 Away)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Kevin Porter Jr.
  • AJ Green
  • Kyle Kuzma
  • Bobby Portis
  • Myles Turner

The Bucks snapped a three-game losing skid on Tuesday, beating the Indiana Pacers on the road, 111-94. Beating Indiana doesn’t really prove much, but it was still a welcome break for Milwaukee, which is still waiting for the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo from injury.

While the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player continues to be sidelined by a calf injury, the Bucks will look to rely on the duo of Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins. The two played huge roles in the Bucks’ success against Indiana, as Porter put up 24 points and Rollins added 23 points off the bench. Porter is having a renaissance this season as a Milwaukee reclamation project, and he can keep it going against the Grizzlies, who have a pretty suspect defense that is just 19th in the league with a 19th-ranked defensive 54.8 eFG%.

The Bucks are 3-1 against the spread in their last four road games.

Home: Memphis Grizzlies (14-16, 6-8 Home)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Ja Morant (Questionable)
  • Cedric Coward (Questionable)
  • Jaylen Wells
  • Jock Landale
  • Jaren Jackson Jr.

The Grizzlies return home after a 137-128 loss to the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. Before that, they suffered consecutive losses to the Washington Wizards (130-122) at home and to the Oklahoma City Thunder (119-103) on the road, giving them a ride from one end of the spectrum to the other in terms of opponents’ strength of late.

Memphis defeated the Jazz even without Ja Morant, thanks in large part to Santi Aldama’s 37-point eruption and the team shooting 19/45 (42%) from behind the arc. But the Grizzlies are also just 19th in the league with a 35.1 3FG%, so they’ll be pressed to be that good from deep for the second game in a row when they host Milwaukee. Speaking of Morant, he and Cedric Coward are both questionable for the Bucks game at the time of this writing.

The Grizzlies are 4-0 straight up in their last four home games against Milwaukee. They are also 6-0 against the spread in their last six games as the home team versus the Bucks.
