The red-hot Milwaukee Bucks look to extend their winning streak to six as the LA Clippers come to town.

Catch the game tomorrow at 9:00 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: LA Clippers (39-20, 18-12 AWAY)

Projected starting five:

  • James Harden
  • Paul George
  • Terrence Mann
  • Kawhi Leonard
  • Ivica Zubac

The Clippers will be coming off a come-from-behind, 89-88 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, where they erased a 16-point deficit on the road. It’s their first back-to-back victory in 10 games, a timeframe that also succeeded a 9-1 stretch.

The team should be feeling some momentum, but tomorrow’s another challenging test as they are on 0-days rest against a top contender. Then again, Kawhi Leonard (24.2 PPG), Paul George (22.0 PPG), and James Harden (17.3 PPG) are all expected to be on deck, and though there’s a chance at least one may elect to be rested, they’ve also shown all season that they plan on being present as much as possible.

Sixth Man Norman Powell (13.6 PPG) is also there to provide some damage with his sneaky scoring.

The Clippers are 5-5 over their last 10 games, averaging 110.4 points per game and giving up 112.4 on the other end.

HOME: Milwaukee Bucks (40-21, 24-7 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • Damian Lillard
  • Malik Beasley
  • Jae Crowder
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo
  • Brook Lopez

After a horrendous start to the Doc Rivers era, the Bucks are continuing to show signs of life. They have now won five-straight games by an average of 18.4 points, four of which were on the road – granted, two were vs. the Charlotte Hornets, but still.

Nevertheless, tomorrow’s a good test as to how hot they really are. As always, Giannis Antetokounmpo is powering the way as he is at 31.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists on an insane 66.3% shooting in the current streak, identical from his regular season numbers.

Number two guy Damian Lillard, meanwhile, should look to contribute more since he has shot just 39.3% for 20.2 PPG (-4 from his reg season avg) in his last five. Fortunately, though, fan favorite Bobby Portis is stepping up nicely as of late, chipping in 15.3 points, 7.3 boards, and 1.3 steals with a 40.9% clip from beyond the arc across his last 12 outings..

PREDICTIONS:

Handicap: The Bucks (-5) don’t cover the spread.

Over/Under: The total goes over 228.
