The LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls meet for the second time in five days. LA won this past Sunday, 112-102.

Catch the game tomorrow at 8:00 AM, Manila time.

AWAY: (LA Clippers 41-23, 22-10 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • James Harden
  • Paul George
  • Terrence Mann
  • Kawhi Leonard (day-to-day)
  • Ivica Zubac

The Clippers are looking to bounce back from a rough loss. On Wednesday, they went up by as much as 22 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but ultimately lost, 118-100, as they had no answer for Anthony Edwards. Even worse, Kawhi Leonard was injured in the first half and didn’t return. However, he isn’t expected to be out for long, and is even possible to play tomorrow.

LA mustered a  balanced attack in the recent win over the Bulls. Six guys reached double figures, led by George and Leonard having 22 and 19 points, respectively, and James Harden posting a triple double of 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

With or without Leonard, LA will be fielding a pretty capable lineup. Big man Ivica Zubac and reliable shooter Norman Powell have been complementing the team stars well, and should be able to continue doing so.

The Clipps are scoring 110.6 points per game and giving up 111.0 in their last 10 outings.

HOME: Chicago Bulls (31-34, 16-16 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • Coby White (day-to-day)
  • Ayo Dosunmu
  • Alex Caruso
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Nikola Vucevic

The Bulls snapped a two-game skid on Thursday with a thrilling, 132-129 double overtime road win over the Indiana Pacers. They are now 4-2 across their last six games. One of the two losses, however, was the aforementioned defeat against the Clippers.

DeMar DeRozan had an all-around line of 24 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists during Sunday’s loss to the Clipps, while Nikola Vucevic added 22 and 10. However, it was simply far from enough when you’re opposite such a stacked squad.

Nevertheless, those two will remain as the co-leaders for tomorrow, especially with Coby White injuring his hip in the Pacers game. DeRozan will be on the heels of a clutch, 46-point performance, but note that he and the Bulls are on 0-days rest.

If White is unable to play, Alex Caruso and Ayo Dosunmu will assume the spot in the pecking order. The former chipped in 23 points, seven boards, and seven dimes while the latter added 20 vs. Indy.

PREDICTIONS:

Handicap: The Clippers (-6.5) cover the spread.

Over/Under: The total goes over 215.5.
