Away: Atlanta Hawks (7-8/3-4 Away)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Trae Young
  • Dyson Daniels
  • Zaccharie Risacher
  • Jalen Johnson (Questionable)
  • Clint Capela

The Hawks are flying again after bouncing back from a 114-110 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers last Monday in a 109-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings on the road on Tuesday. With that win, the Hawks have gone 3-1 straight up in their last four outings. The Hawks are also entering the Golden State game with a 4-3 record against the spread in contests this season as an underdog.

Atlanta is one of the highest-scoring teams in the league, as Trae Young and company are ninth in the NBA with 116.1 points per game, and they are doing with with the help of great ball movement. The Hawks are fourth overall with an average of 29 assists per game. Young leads the team in points (22.6) and assists (11.6) per outing. While Atlanta’s defense is just 27th with 119.5 points per contest, the Hawks are fifth with a 14.3 percent defensive turnover rate. Atlanta held the Kings, who have a top-10 offense, to only 43.5 FG% and forced them to commit 17 turnovers.

Home: Golden State Warriors (10-3/4-1 Home)

Projected Starting Five:

  • Stephen Curry
  • Buddy Hield
  • Andrew Wiggins
  • Draymond Green
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis

The Warriors are coming off a rare loss, as they got humbled by the Los Angeles Clippers in a 102-99 loss in Inglewood last Tuesday. Despite the loss, Stephen Curry shined, as the two-time league Most Valuable Player generated 26 points on 10/21 shooting from the floor while grabbing seven rebounds and adding six assists to his name. The Dubs are 19-19 against the spread in games after a loss since the 2023-24 season.

Golden State struggled with ball security versus the Clippers, as the Dubs turned the ball over 19 times. Given Atlanta’s opportunistic defense, the Warriors can’t be clumsy on offense. Speaking of which, the Warriors have one of the best offenses in the league. They are third overall with 119.6 points per game and fifth with a 56.1 eFG%. They’re also just as good on the other end of the floor, with Warriors opponents putting up just 110.1 points per outing on a horrid 50.1 eFG%.
