It’s a clash of swingman tandems! Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both expected to be back after their usual rests and will go head-to-head opposite Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.

Catch the game tomorrow at 9:00 AM.

HOME: Chicago Bulls (23-26, 13-10 HOME)

Projected starting five:

  • Ayo Dosunmu
  •  Zach LaVine
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Patrick Williams
  • Nikola Vucevic

The Bulls ended their three-game roadtrip Sunday by returning to the win column. They blew past the Orlando Magic, 128-109, for their fourth win in six games. They are scoring 117.2 PPG in that stretch.

The high-scoring combo of DeMar DeRozan (26.4 PPG) and Zach LaVine (23.8 PPG) are in an interesting matchup against the Clippers’ wings. With Chicago aiming to dig themselves out of the play-in spots, look for both to show-off their top-notch offensive talent.

Hopefully, their main interior man, Nikola Vucevic (17.5 PPG, 11.1 RPG), can also make his presence felt. While his stats are up to par from his past campaigns, he has been a bit underwhelming overall this season, though he did have a 43-point outburst just weeks back against the Golden State Warriors.

Chicago is 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 home games.

AWAY: LA Clippers (28-25, 14-14 AWAY)

Projected starting five:

  • Kawhi Leonard
  • Luke Kennard
  • Terrence Mann
  • Paul George
  • Ivica Zubac

The Clippers had their five-game winning streak snapped on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, 122-99, as they were without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. At the very least, one is likely to return tomorrow.

That aforementioned streak will be the team’s main driving force for tomorrow’s action. They are 28th in scoring this season but bulldozed defenses for 126.8 points in those five contests, with Leonard rampaging for 30.0 PPG on a superb 63.6%/48.5%/92.5% shooting split. George was nice as well, going for 24.4 PPG on 55.6% shooting.

Ivica Zubac will be in a battle down low against Vucevic. He’s not as polished offensively, but he’s a known brash rebounder and defender (10.1 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 1.3 BPG). If either Kawhi or PG miss the game, Reggie Jackson (11.3 PPG) could be in for a good scoring night.

The Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

PREDICTION:

Handicap: The Clippers (-3) win it and cover the spread.

Over/Under: They may slightly miss 230. Going under could be good.
