This season, multiple dynamic duos have balled out and impressed.

The duo of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and other great partner in crimes have all showed great performances this year.

However, the dynamic duo of the Phoenix Suns may not be getting enough credit when talking about the top duos this year in the NBA.

Both guards are the main reason why the Suns are title contenders this year.

The 24-year-old Booker is the go-to-guy of the Phoenix Suns and have been showing why he was seen as one of the great players of the future.

This year he’s averaging 25.4 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 4.5 APG and 48.3% FG.

The 35-year-old Paul is the leader of the team and despite not being able to put up the same averages as his prime days, his veteran smarts and leadership have been making big impact for the relatively inexperienced Suns this year.


CP3 is averaging 15.7 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 8.8 APG, 1.5 SPG and 48.5% FG.

The duo was also able to stay healthy this season with Booker playing a total of 53 games and Paul with a total of 56 games played.

Because of their great play this year and great health, the Suns are second in the Western Conference with a 41-16 record and are looking great heading into the playoffs.

The Suns have won eight of their last 10 games with Paul averaging 14.6 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 9.4 APG, 1.4 SPG in 49.2% FG. Booker has put up 25.2 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.7 APG and 43.3% FG during that 10 games stretch.

In their most recent games, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime, 128-127 with Paul putting up 22 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists and surpassed the great Magic Johnson (10,141 assists) in the NBA’s all-time assists list to take the fifth spot in the all-time list with a total of 10,145 assists.

Booker on the other hand dropped 24 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals to give them the win.

If they can stay healthy, the Suns could surprise a lot of people in the postseason.
