Away: Oklahoma City Thunder (29-5, 12-3 Away)
Projected Starting Five:
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Cason Wallace
- Luguentz Dort
- Jalen Williams
- Chet Holmgren
After stumbling in consecutive losses to Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs, the Thunder have gone back to their winning ways. They closed out their 2025 schedule with three victories in a row, including their 124-95 stomping of the Portland Trail Blazers at home on Thursday.
The reigning champs should feel confident in their chances to keep it going this Saturday, as they face a team they have taken down twice already this season. Oklahoma City beat the Warriors at home in November (126-102) and then again at home in December (124-112).
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dominated the Warriors in both games, averaging 33.0 points on 55 FG% in those meetings. Chet Holmgren has been just as effective — if not more dangerous — in Golden State games, as he’s averaging 22.0 points on an incredible 81 FG% versus the Dubs this season. Meanwhile, big man Isaiah Hartenstein has been ruled out for Saturday’s game with a calf injury.
The Thunder are 5-5 against the spread in their last 10 games against Golden State.
Home: Golden State Warriors (18-16, 10-4 Home)
Projected Starting Five:
- Stephen Curry (Questionable)
- Moses Moody
- Brandin Podziemski
- Jimmy Butler III
- Quinten Post
The Warriors are on a groove as well, as they have won their last two outings. On Thursday, Golden State defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 132-125, with Stephen Curry leading the charge. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player dropped 26 points with five 3-pointers on Charlotte.
But given how the Thunder held him to just 30.8 FG% in his only appearance thus far this season against OKC, Curry will need others to help him out and step up on offense. Curry might end up missing the OKC game, though, as he’s currently labeled questionable after tweaking his left ankle against the Hornets.
If Curry ends up getting sidelined, Jimmy Butler, who averaged just 9.0 points in the two meetings with Oklahoma City, will have to lead the show for the Dubs. Butler has some momentum going into another meeting with OKC, having scored 19 points against Charlotte. Brandin Podziemski also had 19 points off the bench in that contest. Meanwhile, it is worth noting that Draymond Green has been ruled out for Saturday’s game for maintenance purposes.
The Warriors are 3-2 against the spread in their last five games overall.
