Kelsey Plum had a night again on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Sparks guard put up another scintillating performance against the Catilin Clark-less Indiana Fever, as she pumped in 25 points while connecting on seven of her 11 attempts from the floor. She also set her teammates up for buckets on numerous instances, coming away with 11 assists while finishing with a plus-11 in 34 minutes.

Plum has been feeling unstoppable of late, and the way she’s playing has put her in a great position to set a new WNBA record that she currently shares with Clark and two others.

Via the Sparks’ public relations department:

“Kelsey Plum tied the WNBA all-time record for most consecutive games with five straight of at least 20 points and five assists. Caitlin Clark, Arike Ogunbowale and Cappie Pondexter have also accomplished the feat (stat via @FlyByKnite). With a team-high-tying 25 points and game-high 11 assists, the lefty recorded her second double-double of the season and seventh of her career. The guard also posted a game-high +15 rating.”

Plum can break the record this coming Thursday when the Sparks host the Connecticut Sun. For what it’s worth, Plum had 30 points and two assists in Los Angeles’ last meeting with the Sun.

Plum isn’t the only one doing the work for Los Angeles. Rickea Jackson, who lit up the Fever for 25 points, has averaged 17.8 points on a 47.6 FG% in the last 10 Sparks games. Dearica Hambry has scored 18.6 points in the same span while making 61.2 percent of her shots over the same stretch. Plum is leading the charge, as she’s posted 21.0 points with a 50.4 FG% throughout that window.

The Sparks lost 13 of their first 18 games in the 2025 WNBA regular season, putting their chances of making the postseason in jeopardy. But the Sparks have seemingly turned things around since, having won eight of their last 10 games.  There is still plenty of work to be done for Los Angeles, as the team remains on the outside of the playoff picture, with their 13-15 record good for ninth place in the standings, thus far.
