Welcome to the first edition of Ballers PH’s Favorite NBA Performances of the Week! The past seven days gave us historic stat lines, clutch moments, and reminders of why we love this game. From Steph’s shooting clinic to Giannis’ all-time triple-double, here are the standout performances that had us buzzing.

#1 – Stephen Curry (52 PTS, 10 REB, 8 AST, 5 STL, 12 3PM vs. Grizzlies, April 2nd)

When Steph Curry gets hot, there’s nothing defenses can do – and the Memphis Grizzlies learned that the hard way, for the nth time. ‘The Chef’ put on a shooting exhibition, torching Memphis for 52 points while knocking down 12 three-pointers, just two shy of his own NBA record. He also stuffed the stat sheet with 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals, flirting with a rare 50-point triple-double.

What made this performance even more impressive was the timing. Golden State is locked in a tight playoff race, and the 134-125 win officially jumped them ahead of the Grizzlies.

#2 – Nikola Jokic (61 PTS, 10 REB, 10 AST vs. Timberwolves, April 2nd)

Nikola Jokic doesn’t chase stats – they just happen. On Wednesday, in a 140-139, double-overtime thriller vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, the two-time MVP delivered one of the greatest individual performances in NBA history, albeit a loss, dropping 61 points alongside 10 rebounds and 10 assists. This wasn’t just another triple-double; it was the highest-scoring triple-double ever.

The defeat doesn’t take anything away from Jokic’s brilliance. This game was a perfect example of why he’s the best player in the world right now: effortless dominance, no matter the opponent.

#3 – Brandin Podziemski (28 PTS, 6 AST, 8 3PM vs. Lakers, April 4th)

In a matchup plastered by superstars, Brandin Podziemski became a huge X-Factor.  The Warriors’ second-year guard erupted for 28 points, including 8 three-pointers, in a crucial, 123-116 win over the Lakers. His 22-point first half set the tone, giving Golden State an early lead they never relinquished.

Podziemski isn’t known as a volume scorer, but with the Warriors fighting for playoff positioning, he picked the perfect time for a breakout game. His confidence from deep and playmaking (6 assists) were key in securing the victory. He may be one of the key role players to watch out for in the postseason.

#4 – Giannis Antetokounmpo (35 PTS, 17 REB, 20 AST vs. 76ers, April 4th)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a force of nature, and his latest masterpiece was a historic triple-double: 35 points, 17 rebounds, and 20 assists in a dominant, 126-113 win over Philadelphia. No player in NBA history had ever recorded a 35/15/20 stat line—until now.

The Greek Freak bulldozed his way through the 76ers’ defense, scoring at will while also facilitating efficiently – a good reason why he’s constantly in the MVP ballot every season.

#5 – Ja Morant (30 PTS, Game-Winning Buzzer-Beater vs. Heat, April 4th)

Ja Morant has had a turbulent season, but when the lights were brightest, he delivered. With Memphis struggling (1-7 in their last eight games) and the Miami Heat riding a six-game winning streak, Morant took over, dropping 30 points—including a cold-blooded game-winning buzzer-beater, lifting them to 120-118 win.

The Grizzlies needed this win badly, and Morant, despite recent scrutiny over his antics, reminded everyone why he’s one of the league’s most electrifying players.
