The past week featured more bursts of high-octane performances. As usual, the NBA delivered with electric nights, surprise explosions, and stars doing star things.
Former Duke teammates Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel led the way among the rookies, while unexpected 40-pieces from Jarrett Allen and Dillon Brooks stole headlines. Nikola Jokic returned from a month-long absence like nothing changed, Mikal Bridges redeemed a rough stretch with a huge second half, and while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did what he always does, Cason Wallace added his own statement with a season-high night.
