The stars showed out this week, and the vets especially reminded everyone why they’re still elite. Whether it was record-chasing brilliance, vintage scoring explosions, or unexpected standout nights, these performances had everything.
Stephen Curry – 49 points, 9 3PM – Nov 15 vs. SAS
At 37, Steph is somehow playing like he discovered a new prime. Effortless movement, effortless shooting, effortless chaos for the Spurs, who he cooked in back-to-back games. Every night, he’s either tying a record or setting one. This performance was another reminder that Curry’s greatness still hits like a cheat code.
James Harden – 41 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists – Nov 15 vs. DAL
Harden delivered a throwback masterpiece, blending scoring and playmaking the way only he can. At 36, he’s starting to look like another ageless wonder, powering the Clippers with the first 40-point triple-double in franchise history. Vintage bag, elite pacing, total control – it’s Harden at his purest.
Kyle Kuzma – 29 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals – Nov 15 vs. CHA
Kuzma has been the butt of jokes for years, which makes nights like this all the sweeter. He stuffed the stat sheet on both ends, giving Washington a confident, all-around performance. The only downside? He followed it up with a dud – a familiar Kuzma rollercoaster. But when he hits, he hits
Dillon Brooks – 32 points, 12/18 FGs – Nov 14 vs. IND
Dillon Brooks continues to be a sneaky-good pickup for Phoenix. Known for his defense, he showed his offensive punch too, stepping up beside Devin Booker to push the Suns to their fifth straight win. Efficient, aggressive, and timely – just Dillon, The Villain at his best, not his loudest.
Lauri Markkanen – 47 points – Nov 17 vs. CHI
Markkanen let it fly all night, and Utah was more than happy to ride the hot hand. With the greenest light on the roster, and two overtimes to work with, he poured in 47 against his former team. Smooth, confident, and unapologetically aggressive, this was the version of Lauri that looks utterly unguardable.
Luka Doncic – 41 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists – Nov 16 vs. MIL
On zero days’ rest, Luka walked into Milwaukee and put on a show. In a marquee duel with Giannis, he controlled the game from start to finish, leading the Lakers to a surprisingly comfortable road win. Another near triple-double, another masterclass. Doncic just keeps stacking elite performances like it’s nothing.
