Well, it sure looks like KD and the Greek Freak aren’t being hampered by their injuries.

Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo went off at each other today in an exciting game that ended in a 117-114 victory for the Bucks.

Durant (42 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one block) and Antetokounmpo (49 points, eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks) put on quite the show.

The two forwards are among the league’s most talented players, and it was fun seeing them go at each other.

If anything, today’s game serves as a potential preview for a playoff matchup in the later rounds. If the games go like today, we’re in for an epic series.

The two teams have a penchant for close games as well, as their first regular season game was won by the Nets 125-123. They’ll play the tiebreaker later this week.

Antetokounmpo, as usual, was complimentary of Durant’s performance.

It’s good to see that Antetokounmpo didn’t seem to have any lingering effects from his ankle injury suffered against the Rockets last week. It looks like the Bucks decided to protect him and keep him out of any further action out of that game instead.

With the playoffs less than two weeks away, it was certainly the right move. I can’t wait to see their next battle.
