Unlike Day 1, Day 2 matches are pretty polarizing. Dominus will be facing JD Gaming, and at a glance one could infer how this will go. On the other hand, a seemingly close match between LGD and Invictus Gaming will happen on this day as well. Regardless, of the matchups, the players in these teams are still great to watch, so read on for the odds and our thoughts on who will win.

Dominus Esports versus JD Gaming

Dominus (11.59 to win) with their current roster stands no chance against most teams. They even lost against Oh My God in Day 6 of Week 3, which puts them to the lowest rank in the leaderboards. There’s a huge lack of synergy and macro in the team that drags itself down to the depths, and even importing their academy players did little to help.

In contrast, JD Gaming (1.01) has the stars aligned in their favor. What Dominus doesn’t do, JDG does better, and extremely well as the Spring champion and one of the four giants of the LPL. From Zoom to LvMao, there’s no questioning the caliber of the players that they have.

This is undoubtedly a free win for JD Gaming.

LGD Gaming versus Invictus Gaming

LGD Gaming (2.23 to win) is one of the teams up there with Royal Never Give Up and Team WE in the leaderboards. Their winning bet is their bot lane duo in Kramer and Mark. Kramer is looking to be quite the proficient ADC, piloting two of the hardest marksmen (Aphelios and Ezreal) with great finesse. Mark knows how to play the perfect support for the perfect marksman, possessing a huge variety of playstyles from Yuumi to Leona and Thresh.

Invictus Gaming (1.5 to win) is still in a questionable position; one could even go far as to say that they are in the “LPL Purgatory”. While they are hailed as the Top 4 team in the league, they are the only team to have a clear weakness: TheShy. Rookie and Ning are the highlights in the iG games, while Puff and Southwind follow the lead of the mid-jungle duo.

While IG has the odds with Rookie and Ning, LGD has Kramer and Mark. If they cannot shut down LGD’s win condition, IG will likely suffer another dent in their record.
